Advance Registration Closed
We have closed pre-registration for Westercon 64. If you haven’t yet bought your membership, you can purchase full-weekend or single-day memberships at the door. Membership prices at the door are as follows:
- 4-Day Attending Membership: $75
- Friday Only: $30
- Saturday Only : $40
- Sunday Only: $40
- Monday Only: $25
Westercon has no membership cap or other limit. We are not “sold out,” regardless of anything you may have heard elsewhere. We’d love to see you this weekend!

Membership Rates Increase June 1
On June 1, membership rates in Westercon 64 increase to $75 for an attending membership. That will also be the price at the door. Single-day admissions will also be available at the door only; see the Registration page for details. If you expect to attend Westercon for more than one day, it’s cheaper to register now for $65 than to wait and pay more at the door. We will also be selling memberships at our table at BayCon. Save money and buy your membership in advance!
At-Door, Daily Rates Announced
Westercon 64 has announced the membership costs for buying a membership at the door and the cost of single-day admissions. Effective June 1, 2011 and at the door, a full four-day attending membership, including admission to all convention functions, will be $75. (Memberships are currently $65.)
Single-day admissions entitle you to attend one day of Westercon. The single-day admissions will cost as follows:
Friday: $30
Saturday: $40
Sunday: $40
Monday: $25
Single-day admissions will not be sold in advance and can be purchased at the convention only.

Pre-Supporter Discounts Expire Soon
If you pre-supported the San Jose in 2011 Westercon bid, you are entitled to a $15 discount off an attending membership. That discount expires on August 1, 2010. Memberships are currently $65, but only $50 for pre-supporters through the end of July 2010. We urge all of our pre-supporting members to redeem their discounts now and buy an attending membership to Westercon 64 for only $50. Register online on our membership registration page.
If you believe you used your pre-supporter discount and should already have an attending membership, check your membership status and if you still have a question after that, write to our Registration Team.
Progress Report 1 Mailed
Westercon 64 Progress Report 1 is now available for download from our Publications page. We mailed copies of PR1 this week to all members (or handed them out in person) except those who opted out of receiving paper publications. If you would like to opt-out of receiving paper publications, write to our Registration department (see contacts on the Committee List).
